Consultation and more specifically client advocacy services are certainly provided differently depending on who you hire and the methods and approach used. It was by way of working with people, more specifically working with them on their summer homes, that I became aware of the broader allegory it serves. This underlying frame of reference remains helpful for all matters needing attention.
-Allowance and resolution in place of being adversarial or overly influenced by the need to be right.
-The creative process which seems to gradually emerge from the abstraction of shared imagination.
-The magical power of collaboration when in service of shared purpose.
-Trust in the destination because “you know it when you see it”.
This framework of thought applies universally when seeking solutions. It is a realization of confidence in knowing the answer is somehow already there yet remains dormant and undiscovered. Consider how the magnificence of the sculpture already lies completely within the potential of the stone, no less true even before the first piece is chipped away. The difference is in the skill used to remove the parts that don’t belong and are allowed to fall away. It is a perfect metaphor to apply the IntegriTekt approach.
