FOUNDER – JIM BLAHUT
If making things can be a passion, from the earliest memories, making ideas real has been that passion. Aligned with his natural aptitude to bring together both the vision and its application, Jim employs a different approach to “concept solutions” first demonstrated in home construction as his version of home building. His particular approach of both developing the solution and also then carrying it out remains applicable to a great number and variety of other needs, each requiring its own unique concept solution.
Initially seeking an education in design and the School of Architecture, Jim’s focus of study moved on to the School of Engineering and the science of structures and construction. He proudly graduated from (WE ARE!) Penn State University in 1997 after completing their five-year program and receiving his degree in Architectural Engineering (AE). Opting not to pursue typical employment in the commercial and industrial construction industry, Jim founded the Perennial Homes construction company in Beach Haven later that same year, specializing in construction and design support services.
After ten years of home building and becoming accomplished in the broader service of project delivery, Jim’s professional footprint expanded. His insights, experience and education eventually led to the creation of a separate company, having the expertise of design and engineering consultation. In 2007 IntegriTect Consulting was founded, primarily serving the purpose to complement the construction process of Perennial Homes LLC, what Jim refers to as building architecture.
Since that time his consultation insight continued to broaden and evolve. Interestingly, that very process of development, namely bringing a greater potential forward, is embodied within the business name which was later changed to IntegriTekt Concept Solutions, incorporating an expanded and deeper approach to client advocacy and related services; those things inherent in the builder.
